His work has appeared in many automotive related media publications including Automobile Quarterly, Hemmings Special Interest Autos, Mustang Market & Tech Guide, Cars & Parts, Car Collector, Heavy Duty Trucking, and Pontiac Enthusiast.

 

In addition, David writes catalogs for some of the finest collector car auction companies in the world. He also won the 2007 Hernando DeSoto award from the National DeSoto Club for his book on the history of DeSoto and sits on the Society of Automotive Historians Benz Award committee, which annually recognizes the best automotive related journalism article in print form.

Chris David

Chris David’s love for automobiles began early when at the of 12 he became a Junior Judge at the Greenwich Concours D’Elegance in Connecticut.

After becoming a full-fledge Judge at the age of 18, Chris began to participate in other Concours events around the country. 

 

At 25, he developed an excel based computer program which streamlined the results verification and data recording process.

Today, the program is used at Greenwich, The Elegance at Hershey, the Boca Raton Concours, and many more events around the country.
